A MESSAGE FROM BISHOP DOHERTY
There is a difference between being grateful for something, and simply being grateful. This does not just happen. It reflects a conscious choice, renewable daily. All the good in my life reflects a combination of faith, extended family, hard work, and luck. If I parse the luck aspect, it starts to look like Providence. I am pretty sure that every person who contributes to an LDFI endowment shares this observation. Acting on this realization is more than a financial investment, it is affirming our communion of Faith. Down the road, ministries and apostolates will benefit from your generosity. And as we know from early Church records until the present, thanks will beget thanks. God bless your faith and health.
