“When he passed, he left money for an endowment. And we looked at a number of the things that he would be interested in, whether it be parish ministry, theological training, youth ministry. And so in conversations with his family, we decided that the money that he left would be put into an endowment for youth ministry. And that could cover a number of things whether it be retreats or workshops or training for young people.” — Bishop Doherty
